Education and Early CareerGraduated from the University of Tsukuba in 2009 and earned a Master’s degree from the University of Tokyo in 2011. Joined Dentsu as a new graduate, specializing in digital marketing. I was responsible for strategy planning and overseeing ad operations for clients in insurance, e-commerce, consumer finance, and other industries.Venture Capital ExperienceIn 2015, I relocated to Singapore and joined IMJ-IP (now Spiral Ventures) as a venture capitalist. I focused on investments, value creation, and fundraising in Southeast Asia. Upon returning to Japan in 2017, I joined the Mirai Creation Fund at Sparx Group, where I worked on investments in AI and robotics startups worldwide.Entrepreneurship and MotivationMy experiences at Dentsu, where overwork in my former department gained national attention, combined with my exposure to the growing markets for healthcare and preventative care through investments in caregiving robots, inspired me to take action. Determined to improve the mental and physical health of people in Japan, I co-founded Aristol Inc. in 2018 and became its CEO in October 2020 to lead the company through its business turnaround.Current FocusAristol operates across two main pillars: a healthcare business (our foundational area) and DX consulting. Recently, we have prioritized product development and training programs leveraging generative AI as key growth areas. Alongside leading the company, I am also actively involved in academic research as a Specialist Staff member in Kenji Tanaka’s laboratory at the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Engineering.Our activities are based out of Tokyo HQ and Osaka branch, and we are always open to discussions on recruitment, collaborations, and business opportunities. Feel free to reach out anytime!2009年筑波大学卒業、2011年東京大学大学院修了。新卒で電通に入社しデジタルマーケティングを専門に、保険、EC、消費者金融等の広告主に対して戦略立案、および広告運用の統括を担当。2015年、シンガポールに移住しIMJ-IP（現Spiral Ventures）に参画、ベンチャーキャピタリストとして活動開始。東南アジアで投資、バリューアップ、ファンドレイズを担当。2017年に帰国後、スパークス・グループで未来創生ファンドに参画し、世界中のAI/ロボティクスベンチャーへの投資業務に従事。電通時代に所属していた部署で過重労働が社会で問題視されたこと、またベンチャーキャピタル時代に介護用ロボットの投資業務を通して健康増進/機能維持/介護予防の市場の広がりを目の当たりにし、日本人のココロとカラダをより健全にしようと決意し、2018年に独立、株式会社アリストルを共同創業し、代表取締役に就任。経営再建に伴い、2020年10月よりCEOとして会社を牽引。東京大学工学系研究科田中謙司研究室において、学術支援専門職員として研究活動にも精力的に取り組む。現在、東京本社と大阪営業所の二拠点で活動しています。祖業のヘルスケア事業と、DXコンサルティング事業の二軸で展開しておりますが、最近では、特に生成AIを活用したプロダクト開発、研修事業を重点領域として取り組んでいます。採用、協業、お仕事のご相談などお気軽にメッセージください。
