Production - Hull StructureAssistant to Hull Structual head unit for ship repair, drive and lead hull structural workshop in executing works for hull structure such as replating (shipside abovewater and underwater, deck, transom and superstructure), tank and tank top fittings including pressure test, weather deck fittings, internal hull fittings, hatches and watertight door and exhaust arrangement.Testing & Comissioning Unit - LCS ProjectAssign to Testing and Commissioning Unit for Littoral Combat Ship Project to develop Acceptance Test Protocol (ATP) for Hull Structural and Outfitting including lightship survey and inclining test and acoustic signature.Production/Production Planner - LCS Project- As a production planner, to lead production in detail planning (level 4 schedule) for Hull structure's block fabrication, assembly and erection stage integrated with time frame given and resources available.- Coordinate and liaise with sub-contractor and working level staff to ensure the jobs/project will be executed based on time frame given. - Developing detail work plan (DWP) for fabrication, assembly and erection stage and man-hours and manpower planning as baseline.- Develop and present weekly progress report for Production Hull Structure.- Plan and coordinate heavy lifting operation (block lifting and turning) with other departments, to ensure lifting operation executed based on engineering needs and safety requirements.

Started working at IHC Engineering Malaysia Sdn. Bhd as a shipbulding enginner/ detailer. Using NUPAS Cadmatic for detailed engineering design for Hull Structure. To evaluate 3D models, add on consistancy, missing information and readability from basic engineering design,

Attached at the New Construction Department under Hull & Structure Workshop for the Littoral Combat Ship(LCS) project for Royal Malaysian Navy(RMN). I am in charge of:- To do fit-up and welding visual inspection for partial joint penetration (PJP).- To monitor and control welding shrinkage during welding process.- To do dimensional controls from panel assembly to sub assembly until complete one block.- To do alignment and leveling for jigs/table, panel assembly to sub assembly until complete one block, and keel line arrangement.- Liaise with Quality Department and Ship Surveyor.- To do site technical query/ non-conformance.
