My vast experience trail building has instilled a firm passion in mountain biking and all things riding. I am constantly looking at blank hillsides to imagine what can be created in the form of trail. I have a keen eye for detail in everything that I do. Key responsibilities include processing the weekly pay run, managing a team of 10 staff alongside my store manager, allocating tasks, managing stock and training new staff. This role has provided me with another valuable insight into the bike industry.

Over this seven-month period in Chile, several other kiwis and I led and worked alongside crews of local trail builders to bolster the already advanced private trail network. During this time, we were responsible for organizing the logistics of transporting staff, gear, fuel and tools up to the trail head. I was also responsible for writing weekly reports on progression of the trails including evidence of appropriate trail features for each trail grading.
