In this position I led a team of process improvement professionals who worked in a challenging "mature harvest" business environment. We successfully worked across three operating Gas plants and three separate operations organizations across large geographic spread to promote and successfully complete various lean and continuous improvement projects across the business. Our focus was on culture, cost, operations, and maintenance. One highlight was the successful applica;tion of CI concepts including simple visual management to a $100M+ major asset turnaround. This project was tons of fun and it was a real thrill to be boots on the ground with turnaround staff and contract personnel working as one team !

Leading the Environment Team for insitu oilsands and upstream gas activities across Shell Canada (Alberta & BC).• Responsible for delivering a $10M Environmental Impact Assessment. Delivered on time and on budget and high quality such that it led to the shortest mining oilsands joint review panel hearing on record (3 days).• Delivered multiple and successful regulatory approvals and renewals to the satisfaction of business leaders and leader of a multi-discipline team of regulatory professionals (14 staff), including mentoring, coaching, development, recognition, and promotion.
