The Middlesex Magic is an AAU Basketball Program founded in 1993 by Michael Crotty Sr. He reached thousands of people's lives by using basketball as a tool toward becoming a better person, as well as an avenue to achieving the best possible education! The goals of the Middlesex Magic are simple: have fun, compete, and get better. We have a plethora of talented and experienced coaches on our staff to help our players develop better skills, and Middlesex Magic teams participate in the top-level AAU tournaments regionally and nationally. The Middlesex Magic have 550+ college alumni that have played basketball, and currently has 110+ alumni playing Division I, II, and III NCAA basketball. The Middlesex Magic Junior Boys team won the 2010 & 2011 AAU Super Regional Championship, the 2012, 2013, 2015 & 2016 Division 1 State Championships, the 17u 2018, 2019 and 2020 Hoop Group Showcase League (HGSL), the 2022 16u and 17u Under Armour Association (UAA) Spring championships and the 2023 17u Under Armour Association championship!Middlesex Magic has programs for boys grades 3rd-11th, girls grades 4th-11th, and "Mini-Magic" for grades K-3rd. The Boston Neighborhood Basketball League (BNBL) is the oldest municipal basketball league in the country, serving young men and women in four age divisions: Pee Wee (ages 6-11), 13 & under, 15 & under, and 18 & under.
