Still photographer, videographer, video editor and managing partner of Transmedia Inc., Jeff Harrison’s first love was music. He studied music education at Mississippi College and was choral director at Vicksburg High School in Vicksburg, Miss. Three years after starting his teaching career, he was recruited to come back to Gulfport and join the team at Transmedia.Jeff came on board as an assistant producer, photographer, account executive and tech guru. He joined the local ad club right away, knowing the experience would provide a great opportunity to learn his adopted profession and to make new friends quickly among his peers.Over the last 15 years Jeff has maintained his lively participation in the Gulf Coast chapter of AAF, and it is widely acknowledged that his efforts continue to contribute substantially to the organization’s smooth and successful operation. He has been on the local board for more than 14 years and served as AAF District 7 Governor in 2022-2023 earning the AAF Governor of the Year recognition. Currently, Jeff serves as District 7 Board Chair as well as Treasurer for AAF Mississippi Gulf Coast.When he’s not working with AAF and Transmedia, Jeff serves as Director of Music and Technology at First Presbyterian Church in Biloxi.
