The challenge was to create a system that could intelligently process and format transcripts without relying on complex NLP models. I chose to implement basic language heuristics and statistical analysis, focusing on removing filler words, creating natural break points for segmentation, and handling overlapping speakers. This approach not only ensured reliable and efficient processing but also allowed for comprehensive test coverage.The result was so impressive that our largest customer questioned whether it was "completely machine generated", highlighting the exceptional quality and readability of the final product. This feature significantly enhanced our product offering, contributing to improved customer satisfaction and retention. The efficient, heuristics-based implementation allowed for seamless scaling as demand grew.

As lead developer, I orchestrated the creation of an interface that was simple for consumers, flexible for salespeople, precise for installer measurements, and accurate for fabrication. Through iterative development and cross-functional collaboration, we built a fully custom, mobile-friendly design application with a multi-layer interface.
