In this role, I took charge of directing and facilitating global insurance programs that encompassed property, casualty, and financial sectors. My responsibility was to manage renewals and negotiate coverage limits with insurers, a critical move to manage financial risk. I spearheaded strategic initiatives, which included risk transfer, reinsurance and captive insurance programs. As part of the Large Loss Litigation Committee, I actively contributed to discussions on reserve setting of high value claims. My duty extended to managing detailed monthly and quarterly financial reporting,facilitating claim payments, IBNR/reserve setting, and KPIs. I was the administrator ofthe Claim Department’s RMIS system, facilitated bi-annual ISO actuarial reserve reviews andannual SOC1 audits. I oversaw the insurance administration for independent contractors, agents, and customers, ensuring the smooth issuance and record-keeping of certificates of insurance, policies, and auto ID cards.I implemented strategic negotiations with insurers which significantly decreased insurance costs, optimizing financial resources for the organization. I made data-driven decisions that substantially increased the company’s bottom line, maximizing profitability and ensuring fiscal stability for theorganization.

In this role, I helped manage the formulation and execution of offshore Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) programs for several major US P&C insurers. I was responsible for the transition, training, and management of multiple processes at tier 1 and tier 2 BPO centers in India and Latin America. To underpin the reorganization of core operations for a significant P&C Reinsurance services provider, I conducted an in-depth requirements analysis and crafted workflow management tools. In my role, I also led requirements gathering for shared services operations within underwriting at a leading US P&C Insurer, pinpointing opportunities for outsourcing, efficiency gains and process transformation. I facilitated the design of decision support applications for loss evaluation, contributing to a comprehensive offshore initiative for multiple global insurance carriers. I implemented strategic initiatives that substantially reduced operational expenses, thereby enhancing financial efficiency for the organization. By developing and executing innovative strategies, I was able to significantlyincrease profitability and revenue for the organization.
