I have been working in various aspects of emergency management since 2003 and completed 25 years in EMS (1987). I have extensive experience in project management, administration and operations, hospital administration and operations including JC tracing and inspection, healthcare and transportation emergency management and business continuity. I have experience in counterbioterrorism, bio and syndromic surveillance, emergency planning, environment of care management, risk mitigation, and evaluation, and risk management. I have extensive knowledge about all phases of Emergency Management. I have been deployed with NDMS and others on a number of disasters and have gained valuable experience in disaster management. I have operated and directed a number of both union and non-union 911 EMS services with excellent results and have created and implemented policy for these and other medical services. Currently, I work with the primary care sector in New York State where I assist FQHCs and other outpatient centers prepare for and manage emergencies throughout the State of New York and assist the sector exercising their capabilities. I have worked with countless federal, state, and local agencies and have developed a dynamic program and have consistently introduced new methods for solving planning problems and have created new ways to utilize outpatient medical centers in disaster response.Specialties: Emergency management, departmental and EMS operations, planning, recovery planning, liaison to many regulatory and professional local, state, and federal agencies and partners, coalition building, business continuity, logistics, and administrative operations.
