-Improved the design of a mixer arm in an instrument to prevent the motor from overheating (heat sink, hub and housing ventilation) and to reduce vibrations (system misalignment and manufacturing variability)-Designed and ran a test fixture to assess the gripper arm’s ability to pick up various reagent packs for a future hybrid instrument-Used SolidWorks to design many products such as a camera mount, probe inspection holder, and shaker plate mounts

-Used engineering principles to create and build a ‘collaborative playground’ designed within UD’s Physical Therapy Department to facilitate the social participation of children, especially ones with special needs-Developed three main design drivers: collaboration, explorative learning, manipulation-Tested five structures twice at University of Delaware’s preschool and analyzed results-Supervised and mentored members of the design team
