Oversaw the editorial, production and marketing of Shanghai’s leading English-language business magazine to ensure all profit, sales and distribution targets were met monthly.

* Set-up and launched China’s first English-language trade magazine, Chaina, a magazine for the supply chain and logistics industry.* As editorial director and publisher managed the entire production and editorial process including commissioning of articles, feature writing, advertising sales, liaison with designers and printers, and marketing.* As owner of the publishing company, managed all cost estimations and budgeting aspects of the magazine’s production including sourcing of freelance writers, designers, printers and distributors.

* Provided client-led recruitment and outsourcing solutions to international 4As media and advertising agencies in Shanghai and Beijing.* Led business development in the advertising and media sector by building a strong network and excellent relationships with the top executives within China’s advertising and media industries.

* Project managed and managed the production of the online and print versions of all SinoMedia publications, including: China Economic Review (CER) and EuroBiz (the journal of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China) magazines; EU-China News (the newsletter of the Delegation of the European Commission to China), the CER Foreign Investment Report, and the first editions of both the CER China Stock Directory and the CER China Business Guide 2005.* Managed entire magazine production cycle; advertising revenues grew by more than 50% during my time as publications manager.* Spearheaded growth in circulation of all publications, in China and overseas, more than doubling subscriber base and introducing new retail channels in Hong Kong, Singapore and China.* Oversaw the marketing of SinoMedia and all CER-branded products and managed the development of www.chinaeconomicreview.com
