Member of the European Commission's "Innovation Friendly Regulations Advisory Group".The task of the expert group is to support DG RTD and DG CNECT with advice and recommendations for policies on emerging digital technologies. A key focus lies on understanding the implications of such technologies for government.

Led PUBLIC’s division for the development of research-based insights. Built and managed a function conceptualizing and delivering proprietary as well as public-facing reports in the field of emerging technologies, government digitalisation, and innovation. Also secured new clients and partnerships with German research institutions.

Helped develop proposals for research grants at the intersection of digital innovation, public administration, and organization theory.

Supported the research project “The Disruptive Potential of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations: Exploring Decentralized Governance Mechanisms” as a research assistant. Focused on reviewing literature on "governance".

Helped acquire and fulfil research projects such as a German parliament-funded project on the innovation potential of artificial intelligence and blockchain for public administration (conducted expert interviews, systematic literature reviews, and ran project management). Also helped set up the Centre for Digital Governance via research on strategic positioning.

With Strategy&, worked on a digitization project for a public sector client.

Supported the development of an EU-wide cybersecurity policy framework. Conducted expert interviews and systematic literature review to report on market drivers of voluntary cybersecurity certification by private actors. This project was part of my MPhil program at Cambridge University.

- Designed and implemented a digital communication platform to enhance communication and cross-boundary collaboration within DST consulting- Analyzed the company’s existing communication structure and requirements via stakeholder interviews- Researched best practices for fostering knowledge diffusion and organizational innovation through review of management research- Taught employees of all levels in use of the knowledge platform in interactive sessions with up to 30 attendants: prepared session materials, presented platform features interactively, answered questions and gathered feedback

- Enabled consultants: reviewed project-relevant documents & literature, created consulting materials (e.g. Powerpoint presentations), engaged with clients on site
