Club manager with 18+ years of luxury hospitality experience. I have combined my experience, skill set & background with my passion for travel to succeed in developing and operating private clubs and hotels in seasonal and remote areas. In my career, I have opened & managed at a new build, branded luxury ski hotel in Park City, Utah. I have also run seasonal operations for an exclusive, historic yacht club on Nantucket, Island and a private developer owned ski club in Big Sky, Montana. I was the GM at the 100-year-old Sankaty Head Golf Club and at the Barbuda Ocean Club, a new development in the Caribbean with luxury residences that have access to a golf course, airport, restaurants, athletic facilities and other club amenities. I am now working with a Mexico City developer on 2 large scale private club projects (Puerto Vallarta and Belize). My specific goal is to lead my team through confidently and consistently creative, authentic and passionate service. We want to create unique experiences in beautiful places where families can connect and unplug. As the General Manager living on site, I am responsible for working with our ownership group to establish a new team and develop a unique property with residential, dining and recreational facilities. I work with construction and sales teams to develop great amenities then recruit and hire department heads and staff for operations. I deliver and execute positive, accurate, consistent and unique experiences in a pristine and private setting. I am in relatively remote locations, so preparation and planning are vital, with long range budgeting and planning a key part of the development process. I enjoy connecting with the local communities we are in by helping to build needed facilities and infrastructure, plus programming and donations. I have been involved with meaningful social projects to connect with the local leaders to understand how we can work together to build sustainable social programs. At the beginning stages, we are able to share these projects with our new members and create something special - a place for families and friends to connect and truly relax to enjoy time together. I enjoy facilitating the overall experience of guests. Anticipating needs is important in both planning and execution of daily operations for all departments.
