Michael J. LeBlanc founded LeBlanc Strategic Resources in 1991 as a firm that specializes in: Business Consulting & Management, B2B Brokering, Business Growth Strategies, Private Funding for "Start Up", Small and Medium Sized Companies, and Real Estate.At the age of 21, while studying at LSU and managing 3 restaurants that he co-owned with his father, Steven J. LeBlanc, Michael saw an opportunity as restaurant patrons new to the area would often ask him where the best neighborhoods, houses and schools were located. Acting upon good advice, he began to identify, interview, and qualify top performing and ethical: realtors, bankers, remodeling contractors, builders, inspectors and other professionals and trades that were willing to pay him to drive business their way.Within 3 years, LeBlanc was asked to serve as the youngest board member and vice president of the Central Area Business Association, he opened 4 new restaurants and a catering division, served for a local non-profit organization supporting "First Responders", completed over 50 real estate deals and started promoting "second homes" and condominiums along the beaches of the Dominican Republic, where his mother, Fadua LeBlanc, was born.In 1994, a commercial realtor presented an offer to buy the family restaurants; and upon his father's approval, every location (except the Original location that is uncle started) was sold. He then married his wife, Michelle, kept his "Strategic Resources" business and moved to the US/Mexico border to learn the Inspection, Testing and Certification industry.By 2009, after returning to the US from living in Mexico City for 5 years with Michelle and their 2 boys, LeBlanc Strategic Resources ("LSR") had become a multi-million dollar company doing business in over 10 countries and it was time to end his corporate career with Intertek. Over the next few years LSR found its own niche as an international corporation that works behind the scenes for companies and individuals in order to: raise private capital, increase sales & profits, recruit talent, grow business lines, bundle services, and enter new regional markets. In 2021, LeBlanc celebrated 30 years in business and in 2024, Michael and Michelle celebrated 30 years of marriage. Having fostered strong relationships over the years with international law firms, private equity groups, and a vast array of business owners and corporate leaders, LeBlanc Strategic Resources continues obtaining over 90% of its new clients the same way it did back in 1991... by word of mouth.
