I am a dynamic and competitive senior level IT and Operational leader possessing an extensive track record of developing strategy and delivering proven results. In my career I have demonstrated strong analytical skills, and I have been successful in leading and developing high performing teams for complex organizations.My career started as a Coop student at Old Dominion University working at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in the Engineering Division. I spent the first ten years of my career in software testing and quality assurance. This is where I learned early on to look at every project through the eyes of the customer. During these years I worked in the manufacturing, financial, and software development industries.During the next 5 years, in the Healthcare industry at Trigon / Anthem / Wellpoint BC/BS of Virginia, I honed my management/leadership skills and had my first exposure to large scale mergers and acquisitions. In this role I led a team of 40+ Project Managers and Sr Developers that worked on all IT projects.In 2005, I made the move to Carry-On Trailer for the opportunity to "run the show" in IT for a growing company. Over the next several years I took on additional operational roles managing Customer Service, Order Entry, Logistics, and Customer Litigation issues. In 2008, a Private Equity firm invested in the company. Through multiple PE mergers and acquisitions I was CIO for what is now known as American Trailer World, ATW, a conglomerate of 8 retail, distribution, and manufacturing trailer companies.I now own an IT consulting firm, Help From A CIO. I assist small to mid size companies with all IT needs. I'm actively engaged in several projects ranging from ERP Selection/Implementation to Biometric Time Keeping systems.
