Recent roles include:- Investing in and chairing VideoTaxi, New Zealand’s leading commercial video production house- Advising and investing alongside STAR Capital in Rail Operations Group in the UK, including on their order for 30x Class 93 locos- Investing in RenovoRx, a US based cancer therapy business- Advising on setting up a family office, managing investments and specific investment opportunities- Advising ACS, a leading aircraft charter broker company, in relation to its acquisition strategy- Investing in and working with Wishford Schools, the UK based private school company, on various rounds of fund raising and acquisitions- Advising Rishworth Aviation, the world's leading independent pilot leasing company, in relation to strategic options, culminating in its sale to UK-listed Empresaria Group - Advising Inflexion on their acquisition of Europe's leading flight training business, CTC Aviation- Advising GB Railfreight (part of Eurotunnel) on its UK investment strategy and working with a rail leasing company start-up- Advising Morgan Stanley Infrastructure, 3i Infrastructure and Star Capital on their STG2.1bn acquistion of Eversholt Rail from HSBC (voted Global M&A deal of the year). We co-invested in this business, which was subsequently sold to Li Ka Shing's CKI- Advising Star Capital on its USD275m acquisitions of GECAT and SAS Flight Academy and STG35m purchase of Oxford Aviation (combined to form Oxford Aviation Academy, on-sold to CAE Inc.)- Advising 3i-backed SR Technics on its EUR425m buyout from Swissair, EUR142m acquisition of FLS Aerospace, USD400m refinancing with GECAS and USD1.3bn sale to a Gulf-based consortiumHave advised/invested on/in transactions worth over USD6bn
