Indirect Loan Officer (Underwriter/Buyer) with 13 years of lending experience. My active goals for my career are to continue to cultivate strong relationship-management experience, in which I build high-performing loan portfolios, with low delinquency ratios, while also creating excellent teams.My current role is to underwrite Indirect applications, while currently working remotely. I underwrite hundreds of Indirect applications per month, for dealerships across the State of Montana. I also visit those dealerships in person as often as possible; to cultivate strong working relationships with each Dealership's staff as well. My commitment will always be to create an experience for each member and/or customer, team member or vendor; exhibiting my integrity, compassion, and advocacy for all.In over 13 years of lending experience, I have become an extremely efficient and accurate underwriter, while also building strong relationships built on trust.

I worked with three other managers including the Division Administrator for the State Financial Services Division, which is a part of the Department of Administration for the State of Montana. We worked on project management to support the Division's five Bureaus needs and goals. I worked throughout the legislative session, tracking bills and hearings and providing relevant information to each of the SFSD's managers and Bureau Chiefs about relevant bills that could affect our Division. Throughout my time working for this Division I have made new professional relationships by working with almost 60 people in the Division and helping them with their projects. Working in State Government is a wonderful opportunity to serve the people of Montana and I have learned so many valuable new skills by making the change from the private sector to the public sector.

In volunteering with and becoming a member of the Board of Directors for The Alex Foundation my responsibilities varied from organizing fundraisers, administering The Alex Foundation Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and website, creating Google and Facebook Ads, and replying to families, parents and businesses regarding our services. I also partnered with the local Helena Cinemark Movie Theater to create Sensory Friendly screenings of popular movies. Allowing families with Special Needs the chance to enjoy the experience of going to the movies together and creating unforgettable memories.I really enjoyed coordinating volunteers for our monthly All Abilities Activities, in which The Alex Foundation hosted a fun & safe location for Special Needs families to come play together.The mission for The Alex Foundation began with the initiative to supply children on the Autism Spectrum with sensory support items which insurance would not cover. Over time, it also became a local support group for families across the State of Montana with Special Needs children.

(8 years 4 months)In over eight years with Helena Community Credit Union (Intrepid Credit Union) I started as a teller and quickly was promoted to supervisor, then a lender, and ultimately given the opportunity to manage the Indirect Lending department, and fantastic employees. I became a proficient Consumer and Indirect Lending - Underwriting Loan Officer. However, the most rewarding part of my position was cultivating and advocating for strong teams; whether on the teller line, in ALCO lending committees, and especially while spearheading the growth of the Indirect Lending Department. During that time, I supervised employees, wrote reviews, and organized training and mentoring. To grow the Indirect Lending Department our team traveled to several cities in Montana, on-boarding new dealerships and significantly increasing loan volume. While in Indirect Lending I underwrote nearly all the incoming applications. Reviewed credit history, analyzed financial status risk, and ensured all regulations, policies and procedures were upheld at all times. At times I would also use my extensive financial service knowledge to offer investment/loan/checking options to help members achieve financial goals.I worked with a group of 3 to 10 Senior Lending peers to collaborate on credit rebuilding/refinancing solutions and products to assist our members.In my free time at the Credit Union, I maintained and administered the Credit Union's website (www.thecu4u.org). I was also the administrator for the Credit Union’s Facebook, Twitter, and Wordpress blog. In addition, I conducted staff meetings with groups of 10 to 60 people on topics such as Communication and Differing Personality styles, "How to Care for Introverts and Extroverts”, and the relevance of Social Media in today's working environment.My career within Credit Unions, Member /Customer Service, and Lending is more than rewarding, it has been a privilege.

What a fun job! I loved working with amazing friends of all experiences and backgrounds. The customers were sweet and grateful for the meticulous way we prepared their favorite drinks. This was one of the most enjoyable working experiences.
