CurrentDetroit’s premier auto family introduces its latest endeavor, reimagining automotive repair, tire and wheel services. With a location chosen for maximum convenience, McInerney Auto Center will occupy the former Sears/Die Hard Auto Center location at the Macomb Mall in Roseville.“Sears ran a serious repair business for fifty years,” says Mike McInerney, owner and operator of McInerney Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and the new McInerney Auto Center. “Their attention to customer satisfaction led to their longevity and generations of loyal patrons. We intend to revive their great reputation and add our own formula for success.”The McInerney automotive family dates to 1964 when Tom, Hoot and Jack McInerney opened Northland Chrysler Plymouth on 8 Mile Road in Oak Park. Treating their customers “like family” was the foundation upon which the brothers would build a Detroit dynasty of a dozen car dealerships and service centers.“I intend to maintain the reputation that my dad and uncles crafted over the years while utilizing modern technology, communication and equipment to enhance the customer experience,” McInerney elaborates. “Additionally, we are assembling the best tech team in town so that our services exceed pre-conceived notions of traditional auto repair shops.”
