Speaker
As a speaker, I have the honor and privilege to speak at various organizations (e.g., companies, schools, nonprofit orgs, etc.) about issues pertaining to the LGBTQ community. I believe story telling can be a powerful way to connect, build empathy, and advance social justice. Serving on the Speakers Bureau allows me the chance to spark critical conversations and answer questions that too many people shy away from. This historic institution was founded in 1978 in order to end homophobic and transphobic violence and harassment by educating people about the everyday lives of those in the LGBTQ community. While the fight to end homophobia and transphobia continues, sharing our collective wisdom and stories strengthen and empower us to continue our activism legacy.
