• Built a data reduction pipeline from Python and NASA scripts to clean raw telescope datasets. The scripts reduced ~150 datasets (~500 GB) into a new, research-quality dataset.• Developed a Python code using Markov chain Monte Carlo methods to compare different types of models with archival datasets. I successfully ruled out several types of models, while establishing the existence of a unique model distribution. • Formulated a Bayesian framework to generate model predictions for future observations.• Served as Co-Investigator on a NASA Astrophysics Data Analysis Program grant (~$400,000 awarded over three years with three primary researchers).• Awarded a Rackham Predoctoral Fellowship designed for graduate students in their final year of Ph.D. research (~$30,000).• Organized speaker schedules and led discussions for weekly research groups in the department.
