Prior experience:During her time at Wipfli she had the opportunity to both lead and collaborate with great teams to drive change for both clients and internal operations of a top 20 accounting firm. Previously leading and managing the firms COVID Response Team as it relates to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). In a fast-paced environment, she lead the team to evaluate client’s needs as they developed over the course of the program. The Team designed and implemented operational protocol, engagement letters, budgeting and billing best practices, go to market plans, and managed client services and technical expertise. She participated in firm operations including an overhaul the tax operations for the firm. The Team re-designed the software used, the workflow of the projects, the staff leveraged, and the client experience. She also participated in an overhaul of the “lead to onboarding” phase of the outsourced accounting department. This project helped bring together several merged in firms with several different processes onto one platform for lead management. Maddie also engaged in our Associate Experience research, collaborating with a team to re-design our total rewards benefits at the firm. Maddie is an AICPA Leadership Academy graduate, October 2018. The Leadership Academy was designed to strengthen and expand the leadership skills of promising young professionals while they network with a peer group of talented and motivated CPAs. She served on the AICPA Tax Profession Strategic Advisory Group, the MSCPA BAR Group (representing professionals in the accounting industry) and is a new member of the Prospera Women’s Business Center Board.
