As the founder and CEO of Transforming Wellness, LLC, and a Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I bring a unique blend of corporate experience and personal transformation to my work. My professional journey began in the corporate world where I had a successful career in the transportation industry and then mortgage lending. In 2007, I left corporate life to focus on my family, and in 2009, I pursued my passion for psychology, ultimately earning a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020.My personal wellness journey began in my early 20s with daily scripture reading and physical exercise, which evolved into a holistic approach to well-being. In 2008, a transformative experience with yoga led me to realize that how we approach anything reflects how we approach everything in all aspects of our life. This insight deepened my curiosity about self-awareness and has profoundly shaped my professional path.In 2014, I completed my first yoga teacher training, which complemented my academic pursuits in psychology and counseling. This integration of mind, body, and spirit is central to my approach as a therapist. I believe that every experience we encounter is intertwined with our physical, emotional, and cognitive states.
