Summary of major change achievements as CEO Modernization and reengineering.Starting point - all company data and programs held on one aging desktop server. Bank systems and processes roughly 50% manual. - Complete overhaul and modernization of company's IT infrastructure and all IT systems (Core banking system, core operating system, Internet Firewalls, email systems, backup power and redundancy systems including onsite generators at all key locations, data centre creation) - Implemented first text banking product in Samoa incl. facility for payment of cash power and account balances - product name "627" "NBS Ezibank"- Planned and managed the implementation of our first 12 ATM's and the supporting IT network and switch infrastructure. These were in-wall NCR ATM's and ATM network infrastructure including 24/7 card access for cash and immediate platform readiness for card scheme (Visa/Mastercard + Cirrus/Plus) debit and credit cards. - " product name "Ezibank" and "Ezi bank Gold card"- Obtained VISA CARD scheme full ISSUING and ACQUIRING license (first ever pacific based bank to achieve this)- Planned and managed review and successful selection of banks end-to-end replacement/upgrade to the latest version of the Oracle core banking system and Oracle core operating system including trade finance modules vostro/nostro and SWIFT management.- Implemented and launched full spectrum Oracle Internet Banking solution under product name "NBS EziNet" - Fully upgraded bad debt provisioning levels to international standards through replacement of non performing loans with new performing loans and increased provisioning levels.- Set NBS on path to consistent annual profitability and maintainable dividends payouts
