I lead the Partnerships Retail, Finance and Fitness teams, working closely with Google's top partners to create innovative software solutions using a wide array of Google technologies.

AAM creates software for the film and theatre industry. I was a member of AAM’s senior management and lead a software development team of 50+ software engineers, testers and designers, based in the UK and Ireland.My team created a leading theatre and cinema circuit management system, a global digital content delivery platform, an advertising campaign system for cinema and lobby screens, and a DRM distribution platform.

The Conway Institute focuses on disease research, diagnosis and treatment. Informatics plays a key role in the institute and is responsible for the timely analysis, validation and presentation of biological data.I lead a development team whose software systems automate and manage the analysis of protein data. I architected a distributed scientific discovery platform that supports proteomics research in the Conway and has been licensed commercially. I built and ran the Conway’s computation cluster, and collaborated on various research projects.

ECET specialised in IP communications systems and distributed infrastructure platforms. I lead development and served on the company’s senior management team.ECET’s Integration Port offered online instant messaging, voice and video conferencing, document co-authoring and shared whiteboarding. It was built on Timpana: an in-house Java middleware system for deploying session-based services in a distributed environment.

Vizzavi was a joint initiative between Vodafone and Vivendi to create a consumer internet portal. I was contracted to create a UK development team and oversee the handover of development and content management of the UK portal from Vizzavi's centralised European division.

Primus Telecoms is a telephony carrier and service provider. We created B2B services that automated broadband provision and e-commerce website construction. I recruited the dev team, designed the software and advised on the construction of a European data centre.

Servista, Europe’s first online utility service provider, created a multi-service billing and customer care platform. I was a member of the initial three-man team that designed and constructed their Java-based system.

A member of BT’s Intelligent Systems Research group, my focus was autonomous software agents. I worked on the group’s middleware agent platform and created prototype online assistant agents for B2C and B2B marketplaces.
