I first started in the Technology field officially after my first year in earning my AAS in Microcomputer Technology. after that first year I became a certified MCP, certified copper and fiber optic cabling well into the Fall of 1999 and by my second year was ultimately achieving a solid "A" average and the top of my class. From the very beginning, I knew that this sort of work demanded a life long learning process because of technology changes so quickly in the space of 6 months to a year. It is an absolute necessity to embrace change and not fear it. I started as a passionate learner and still am to this day. I have always believed that if you begin to think you know it all in this business and you do not have to learn anymore, we tend to forget that the old lion will be replaced by the new lion. I have seen it happen. I take pride in my work solo or teamwork. And I find that when common sense is applied to the problem, a solution will present itself. But if the job is difficult, I would find out a solution, learn and build from it.
