I am an Assistant Accountant at Construction Sciences, a leading provider of engineering and testing services in Australia. I manage the receipting and collection processes for a portfolio of clients, using accounting software and communication skills to ensure timely and accurate allocations, and to resolve any issues or queries. I also contribute to the finance team's performance by identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies, and by supporting reporting and reconciliation tasks.I graduated from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting in 2023, where I learned the fundamentals of accounting principles, standards, and practices. I have a passion for accounting and a strong problem-solving ability, which I applied in my previous role as a Public Officer at the Australian Taxation Office. There, I assisted taxpayers with their tax obligations and compliance, and handled customer inquiries and complaints, working with complex and sensitive data in a fast-paced and regulated environment. I am eager to further develop my skills and competencies in accounting, and to contribute to the success and growth of Construction Sciences and its clients and stakeholders.
