Matthew is a seasoned senior security professional with extensive leadership experience in the gaming, hospitality, and sports entertainment industries. He has held the role of Director of Security at the historic Drake Hotel in Chicago, as well as other notable positions such as Security Operations Manager in the Chicago Cubs front office. During his time with the Cubs, Matthew developed a strong passion for public safety, forming key partnerships with the Chicago Police Department and FBI.He joined MGM Resorts International in late 2020 as the Security Manager for National Harbor in Washington, D.C., and his leadership led to a promotion to Director of Security in May 2022. He has coordinated protection details and counter-surveillance operations with law enforcement, including the Chicago Police specialized units and FBI, for over 250 MLB games, as well as NLDS and NLCS playoff games in partnership with Major League Baseball.
