As a child, I was always around technology, building home computers and creating simple games in BASIC in my Dad's workshop. My path after college went in many directions. I spent time in the tech sector doing Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Consulting. However, I never lost interest in food. More specifically in sushi and the history and art of creating it. So eventually, I moved away from technology and became a chef. I eventually owned and opened two restaurants.Over the years I received attention from national media outlets for my sushi skills. But financially I wasn't quite cutting it. I was lucky to find a growing restaurant POS system (TOASTPOS) that was looking for a "fine" dining expert to handle the LA market doing installs, training, configuration and support. It was a great marriage of my two passions, tech and food. I was helping restaurants and loved it. Then COVID hit and as Toast was ejecting their entire field services team, I approached them about being a contract partner.I launched Sora Partners in 2020. Yes in the height of the pandemic! However, there was a need for our services as restaurants had to pivot to a digital world for their survival. We focused on providing white glove pos services and support. Our culture is centered around being being the rock that our customers can count on to lift them up and give them best opportunity for success. Sora has tripled in size and revenue. It has grown revenue every quarter since it started. Not many companies can make that claim.My goal is to ensure we always maintain a commitment to provide World Class services to the restaurant and hospitality industries. Whether it be services like our managed IT platform, or onsite services or remote services, our commitment to quality is second to none. I live and breathe the Sora way every day and seek to build an industry powerhouse.
