Responsible for:- Managing the Group's funding strategy across debt and equity capital markets- Short term cash and liquidity management across all subsidiaries- Transaction banking systems and processes- FX and interest rate hedging decisions- Execution of equity investments / divestments- Preparing the Group budget and five year plan for review by CEO/CFO and approval by Board;- Overseeing financial and some operational aspects of SGH's energy sector investments including preparation of Board approval papers;- Performing valuations and building complex financial models for SGH's existing assets and new investment opportunities;- Measuring the return on capital for each of the Group's businesses against the cost of capital;- Reporting to the Board on the performance of the Group's listed portfolio and contributing to identification and review of new opportunities as part of the Group Investment Committee;- Providing M&A support and execution to the Group CEO and CFO across a number of large transactions;- Contributing to the formulation of Group strategy and in particular the Corporate and Energy sector strategies; and- Preparing investor relations material including ASX investor presentations, half-year and full-year results presentations, and writing CEO speeches.
