S.A.L.A is a Science advocacy group focused on improving the way students learn by promoting more innovative, engaging, and interactive teaching methods.Our programs, centered around the STEAM curriculum ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), are heavily focused on hands-on teaching and learning experiences through which students can marry theory to practice. The Ed forum features the AERO CUP, an academic competition in which contestants design, build, and launch various flying devices (from gliders to rockets) or set out to solve some of Africa’s most persistent aviation challenges. Local and international aviation and aerospace universities also participate for a chance to recruit onsite.2) the professional forum: a platform for airline professional, manufacturers, airport operators, political and civil aviation leaders to discuss and set forth a strategic plan for air transport in West Africa. The professional forum is also an opportunity for small operators (start-ups and private entities) to showcase their products in the midst of global operators. Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
