Successful contract: On a team porting internal Informix 4GL IRS applications into redesigned J2EE applications using Struts, Hibernate, Spring, etc. For SCC, we used Subversion/SVN until August 2005 when we switched to Clear Case. OC4J was the app server.

Successful, short, 4 month Java project with Tivoli before accepting long term IRS project with SAIC that followed.

* I rewrote from scratch and maintained a specialized event driven communications operating system for an IBM channel interface product based on the DEC LSI-11/23. The OS was comprised of tens of thousands of lines of PDP-11 Assembly code, using dynamically configurable function pointer blocks.

* Helped faculty and students at UT with programming in various languages, and assisted them with the use of the CDC Cyber 6600 computers and with the DEC-10.* Added Random I/O to FORTRAN on the CDC-Cyber 6600's using COMPASS assembler.
