Overall responsibility for the day to day operations of The ReUse Centre (TRUC).The ReUse Centre is a registered Charity and both a Social Enterprise and a Social Firm. Based close to the centre of Bedford, we support people and communities throughout the county of Bedfordshire. As a Charity and a Social Enterprise, we support people in need or hardship by supplying low-price re-usable goods and materials.As we have no central funding so we have to rely on sales income and contributions from our members and customers for the products and services we provide.Our main focus is the supply of both new and re-usable furniture, from chairs, tables and lounge suites to beds, wardrobes and other bedroom furniture. We also supply second-hand electrical goods, such as fridges, fridge/freezers, cookers, washing machines, televisions and other domestic appliances. All the electrical goods we supply are tested to make sure they are guaranteed safe to use. We also offer toys and games, books, DVDs and videos.It's not just members that can benefit either, anyone can purchase our bargain-priced goods or use our services such as house clearance or eco-friendly recycling and disposal service.But we do much more than promoting the 3 R's (reduce, reuse and recycle). We are a Social Firm too, bringing benefits to the community by helping people gain real skills and get back into work through a well-established and recognised volunteering scheme, providing our volunteers with training in a range of skills. In April 2018 The ReUse Centre was successfully assessed, against 9 major indicators, for the Investing in Volunteers (IiV) quality standard. I am delighted to say that we achieved the IiV standard.In January 2018 we launched a new initiative, Bedford Community Larder #FeedBedford. The project has grown rapidly and we are already feeding over 200 families each week and diverting over 1,000kg of "waste food" from landfill or incineration every week.

Daily management of permanent staff and volunteer workforce. Duties include all aspects of fleet management, colleague scheduling, inductions and training, process documentation and review, risk analysis, retail sales and overall responsibility for IT systems, software installation and business growth.

Logistical planning for Love Amongst Ruin and other Ancient B performers and crew on the road. Accommodation bookings, media scheduling, time table adherence, itinerary planning, design and printing. Accompany the performers on the road and ensure that the equipment is on stage and correctly set-up in time for each scheduled performance. Oversee the packing of the equipment at the end of each show and ensure everything is returned to the vehicles in a timely manner. Also responsible for maintaining inventory levels for merchandise, setting re-order points and implementing merchandise sales strategies.

Coordinated multiple international project teams to facilitate the implementation of the SAP ERP system throughout numerous manufacturing facilities in Western Europe, Poland and Australia.

Project Manager for FASTS - responsible for moving multiple business centers onto the SAP ERP 6.0 platform.Managing multiple, concurrent, international project teams. Scheduling staffing for four direct reports and twenty eight support personnel.Planning, documenting and executing SAP implementations for multiple different business centers.Ensuring that projects are on time and within budget.Traveling extensively throughout Western Europe to oversee and motivate project teams.

My responsibilities included process mapping, gap analysis, delivering on site and online training and documenting new ways of working.
