Currently helping Payables Management team in invoice process automation: Automatinginvoices that are ready for transfer• Development/design of rules/algorithms for invoice processing automation.• Using my statistic skills and technical know-how to use various tools (such as MS Excel, Python,Tableau powered Basware Analytics) in order to gain insights on suppliers and ledger accounts.My work resulted in a comprehensible dataset that has been the basis for automating invoicetransfers from Basware to Oracle.Responsibilities in the past• Responsibilities included invoice processing, management of P2P processes, month-end-closingtasks and the maintenance of the supplier Master Data.• Was responsible for three Uponor companies (Uponor Suomi Oy, Uponor Oyj and UponorInnovation AB).• I have processed invoices for Uponor companies in different countries (Finland, Sweden,Work HistoryEstonia, Germany and France) and accumulated expertise in i.e. taxation in intra-EU trade.• Participation in transition project, where financial services tasks from other countries weremoved to my workplace.

I developed machine learning applications for financial analysis and classification problems using mostly algorithms suitable for supervised learning. I also worked in a project where my task was to help create a data analytics service for customers operating in potential business areas

I worked with data containing financial ratios of Finnish companies and line of businesses, generated from a database containing over 900 000 financial statements. My task was to refine and prepare datasets and generate insights on the newly refined data, using BI tools such as IBM Watson Analytics and Qlik Sense.The insights and data models were brought to IBM Watson Assistant for easier interaction with the results.

Press machine controller and mainteinance of production using SAP ERP. A forklift was also used and it was my main responsibility to manage the logistics of production. The job gave me an overview of the whole production process, from raw materials all the way to a finished product.

During my time working with my bachelor's thesis I worked as a trainee for Visual Data Oy. I received real life accounting data of Finnish growth companies operating in the field of construction business and in return I helped Visual Data to develop one of its own projects which ended up receiving a grant from Tekes.In my thesis I applied machine learning algorithm, linear discriminant analysis to be specific, and analysed financial statements of growth companies. My hypothesis was that if one separated the growth companies in three groups based on their size, each group would have their distinct paths or strategies for maintaining the growth in the future.Having access to real life data was important as it allowed me to work with raw data rather than with pre-formatted data. I used Excel and R in formatting the data, programming the learner and visualising and analysing the results.
