I was responsible for developing new recruitment initiatives across our key music and tv and film recruitment sites to proactively establish a robust database of candidates and ensure they were fully supportedI worked directly with key stakeholders to determine their recruitment needs and devise active recruitment strategies to ensure a clear, concise and effective pipeline. This included researching, curating and interviewing suitable candidates for a wide variety of roles within the industry, both inside and outside our network.I lead a team of dynamic film and TV industry specialists ensuring that objectives and targets are met in a timely and cost effective manner.I was responsible for regularly updating best practice procedures and safeguarding for all our users. This includes offering one on one consultations with our freelancers, liaising with industry bodies working towards equity and ensuring all staff are briefed on developments.I was responsible for providing weekly updates to our CEO outlining progress, challenges and potential risksI produced reports evaluating growth and risk and presented them during our weekly GM.I represented the company at industry events.I drove company wide initiatives to improve our channels of active recruitment and ensure the needs of our stakeholders are met.I represented the company at industry events including BBC Introducing and AIM and havegiven regular music industry career masterclasses at Universities and Colleges.I launched, produced and hosted a music industry podcast in association with Tileyard London where we interviewed key industry figures including La Roux, Martyn Ware, Sister Bliss and Paul Pacifico from AIM.In 2009, I was sent to Los Angeles for three months to oversee the ongoing development of our TV & Film site, Media Match USA and launch Music Jobs USA. This involved the recruitment and training of key members of staff.
