My experience with Exterran at Dubai (one of the world largest Compressor business company at Houston) allowed me to grow further in field of gas compression, production equipment, and gas processing & treating equipment design, manufacturing, construction and 3rd Party Engineering management. I was the 1st Engineering staff at Dubai and established Application division and subsequently led entire large size engineering department as Director Engineering Services, Integrated Projects for Basic & Detailed Engineering of all EH Oil & Gas projects. I have also successfully performed consultancy roll and participated/controlled development of several engineering standards, guidelines, technical specifications, drawings, quality manuals, data sheets, etc. Evaluated several Third Part Engineering firms in India and signed Master Engineering Services Agreements with selected 7 nos. TPE companies for outsourcing engineering works. Established Exterran India Branch & preferred TPEs alliance.

I led process engineering function of large EPC projects including FEED & conceptual studies for MNCs (GASCO/ZADCO/SADAF). Execution of the Oil & Gas (onshore & offshore) and Petrochemical projects sharpened my knowledge in all areas covering Process Design activities, inter disciplines/project/client coordination/support and participation in proposal preparation for FEED, Detailed Engineering. I have contributed additional revenue saving through adequately identifying and pursuing MOC process. The projects design involved substantial capacity enhancement,140% for GASCO onshore plant & 228% for ZADCO offshore processing platform. At SADAF (SABIC) petrochemical plants, carried out Conceptual Study & Detailed Engineering for retrofitting 15 nos. of R12 refrigerant units with R134a refrigerant, the system capacity enhancement by 10% and conversion of all pneumatic control & field monitoring through DCS.

Recognized by awarding several promotions from “Gas Technologist” to "Sr. Process Engineer" to "Sr. Process Technologist" and finally “Head of Process Technology” for 6 years in Gas Processing Dept. of Qatar Petroleum (one of the leading Oil & Natural Gas producing company) in DOHA –QATAR. This gave me great opportunity to perform multitask duties in Process Technology, Technical Support to Plants, Plants Performance Monitoring, Engineering & Projects coordination, HSE Audit/Review, Consumers Support & Agreements review, Business & Strategy Planning, Team Leadership and Management. An incremental 152 million US$ revenue gained during year 1998-99 by active involvements in optimizing facilities performance & effective shutdown planning of an integrated Gas, NGL & Condensate Processing, Treating, Storage & Distribution Complex. Prepared several management/technical reports and participated in various corporate Studies i.e. Feasibility Study for setting-up new Ammonia/Urea/Methanol Plants for QAFCO, Gas Development Plan for Qatar Petroleum, Base Gas Pricing Task Force Study for QP, QAFAC Butane Storage Committee, Mesaieed NGL Plants Flares Mitigation Committee, Surplus ARAB-D Condensate Disposal Committee, Pentane Product Disposal Committee, Integrated Shutdown Plans Review, Rehabilitation of Gas Liquid Pipeline Study, Transmission & Distribution Pipeline Operations Business Review, etc.Several companies were visited to benchmark QP’s facilities with respect to safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. The company visited are BG (UK), El Paso (USA), PG&EC (USA), Texas Eastern Transmission Cor. (USA), Air Liquid (USA), Phillips (USA), Chevron Pipeline (USA), Trans Canada Pipeline (Canada), SNAM of ENI (Italy).

Worked as an Engineer/Sr. Engineer for one of the top engineering firm in Asia, Engineers India Limited, New Delhi and was able to gain in depth knowledge in Production, Processing, and Treating Facilities Engineering. Had commissioning experience in 1st LPG plant located in Uran, Mumbai and designed subsequent LPG plants having both mechanical (at Uran) & Turbo Expander (at Hazira) technology. Also designed EOR pilot plants having miscible, chemical injection processes at three different locations in India. Worked with SSI Calgary Company to verify in-house design of CO2 miscible injection technology.
