Provide support for our in-house applications. This requires the use of JIRA for ticket management, SQL for querying or amending/repairing data, C# for providing low-level updates to our legacy systems, as well as Python/Power Automate for developing our own tools to assist the wider business.Troubleshooting our new tech stack involves using Postman to make API calls to our own, and 3rd party, services. Depending on the issue, I may work with the ticket reporter to solve their issue, or I may work alongside our development team to bring about a fix.There are no support tiers in my role. We take the ticket and own it to resolution, only passing to developers if our resources or knowledge are exhausted - and where we do, we try and incorporate the fixes into our own library to avoid future escalations.Documenting is a large part of the role. I have helped create our growing library of SOP documents as well as work towards building our new processes, and refining anything that may require it.I recently developed an Azure-hosted .NET 7 Razor Pages Web App which provides extended functionality to one of our legacy systems. This has saved hundreds of man-hours by allowing users to self-serve on processes that used to require a ticket to us.
