I am founder and CEO of Ambiens, a boutique consultancy focused on onshore and offshore wind energy since 2008. For last 8 years, the major C-level commitments I share with best business partner - Paulina, privately my wife. Together, we guide and encourage an #AmbiensTeam of nearly 30 people, remarkable in-house experts in Warsaw and Gdynia office, as well as cooperating freelancers across Poland. I have been supporting the largest RES projects in Poland and actively participating in the expansion of the sector and promotion of sustainable development. Portfolio of projects I was involved at, as consultant or manager, involve more than 100 onshore projects and 13 offshore wind farms on the Baltic Sea. I specialise in project management, development and acquisition of wind and RES projects, while understanding the essence of environmental and social issues. My and my Team's advisory services are driven to developers, investors and lenders. I had a remarkable opportunity to participate in strategic and pioneering projects, which gave me specific experience and unique competence on a domestic market. In recent years, I have been responsible, among others, for the preparation of seabed permit applications (PL: "PSZW") for all of Poland's 2nd phase offshore wind energy sites. I had leading the Team of independent advisors (LIESC) to a consortium of 25 lenders (EBRD, ECA’s, EPFI’s, IFC, and others), during the financing of the country's first offshore wind farm. I was also in charge of the permitting scope in the due diligence (M&A) of the offshore wind project for Northland Power in partnership with PKN Orlen. Last but not least of my key deliverables, I had managed the process of obtaining an environmental decision for the southern section of the Poland-Lithuania gas interconnector GIPL, a strategic EU infrastructure investment with PCI status. Privately, I am offshore yacht skipper who has promised his son a family cruise to observe wind farms in Polish Baltic waters.
