 Supervise and coordinate the day to day activities of entire accounts department, monthly and year end operations of the accounting / finance department including budget review and analyses. Monitor and review accounting systems to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and their compliance with relevant statutory and IFRS/GAAP requirements. Monitor, review and participate in timely preparation of monthly, quality, yearly and transparent financial statements. Review & analysis of periodic financial information and presenting report on variances compared to various benchmarks e.g. budgets & prior period performance etc. Supervise and perform the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions ensuring that all invoices are paid accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures. Manage the processing of cash receipts, recording of revenue, receivables and work closely with the development team to ensure that receivables are reconciled accordingly. Ensuring that all financial documents are accurately supported, approved and that all cheque list, petty cash, Purchase Orders are maintained correctly. Performing and processing expense allocations, monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, fixed assets depreciation. Managing company payroll, ensuring that staff payroll is verified for accuracy, properly processed and paid timely on set dates. Supervise the warehouse functions including inventory control, ordering and other day to day operations. Coordination with banks and financial institutions to ensure availability of funds for meeting routine working capital as well as capital expenditure requirements. Arrangement of credit facilities for import, export and projects. Knowledgeable with Letter of Credit and other import formalities. Manage bank accounts and balances including undertaking monthly bank account reconciliation, Foreign exchange management and cash flow management.
