My proven experience in providing leadership, general management effectiveness, entrepreneurial spirit, and demonstrated business development success was built over three decades holding senior, executive-level positions in both the broadcasting and digital technology industries. My operational competence has spanned organizations from start-up ventures to leading integrated media companies. Within those organizations, my responsibilities have ranged the gamut from P&L oversight, acquisitions, new business development and strategic planning to leadership development and consensus building. I Co-Founded Big City Radio, Inc. (AMEX: YFM - formerly, Odyssey Radio) in New York in 1995. As President and CEO, I led a $28m IPO of the company, followed by a $174M high-yield offering. Enhanced operating revenue came, in large part, due to a technology system that I developed (STMC) that allowed the company to originate broadcast coverage in major markets and to increase ratings for significantly reduced investment costs when compared to competitors. With the proceeds raised, the company acquired 16 radio properties in New York, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Chicago. Prior to that, at the multi-billion dollar privately held media giant, Metromedia, I directed overall management of a $125 million AM/FM radio broadcasting operation in 15 markets & supervised over 350 management and executive staff members. In addition to Metromedia Company, my formative business years included positions at other Fortune 500 companies, among them Procter & Gamble and CBS Broadcasting.Prior to Co-Founding Treegoat, I served as CEO of Metromedia Technologies (MMT), where I assisted with the development of a highly innovative, LED-based digital illumination system that has positioned the company to transform the outdoor industry.
