h e a l t h c a r eMarta dedicated her early career to the University Medical Center at Princeton, working closely with the client on existing hospital renovations, strategic planning, community presentations, site selection and feasibility studies, as the client studied how and ultimately where to modernize/expand their facility. Marta's responsiveness and reliability throughout contributed to the client awarding Hillier Architecture their first new hospital project win. Consequently, Marta assisted in the master planning and schematic design of the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro replacement hospital (now Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center) and contributed to the design of the adaptive re-use study of converting the existing hospital into a residential complex, which earned the team the AIA New Jersey Smart Growth Award for 2006.
