Main founding partner and CEO of Fyfe Europe SA. Mr Karantzikis started Fyfe Europe SA from scratch and managed to organize a fully operational high profile company producing and supplying the Tyfo FRP Composite System in 14 countries (UK, France, Netherlands, Germany, Czech, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia) around Europe and the Middle East. Tyfo brand name and Fyfe company became well known in the circles of FRP experts in the region. Mr Karantzikis developed innovative advanced composite systems and methods for strengthening structures and is the inventor of one patent. Under Mr Karantzikis management, Tyfo System obtained the German (abZ), French (Atex & ATech), Russian (Gost) and European (CE) approvals. Tyfo became the only FRP fabric system in Europe carrying these approvals. Mr Karantzikis organised extensive research programs and the company supported technically and financially basic and applied research in top research and testing laboratories around Europe and the Middle East. Created an extensive network of certified applicators with high expertise in FRP application and quality control methods and superior structural engineering knowledge. Mr Karantzikis is the author of many scientific publications in journals and international conferences and is considered as one of the top experts in FRP and Advanced Composites structural industry.
