Revenue from 13 retail stores, an outlet, and a donation center, help fund local supported employment and job skills training for community members with barriers to employment, along with supportive housing for individuals with chronic mental illness and volunteer income tax assistance.• While serving at Goodwill SCW, Matthew envisioned and implemented a Property Management division responsible for the operations of 13 HUD housing developments, 14 retail store locations, a Corporate Campus, and a state-of-the-art Warehouse. In addition to operational excellence, he created a sustainability initiative that reduced energy consumption by 35% at all locations, resulting in a reduction of carbon waste by more than 500,000 pounds in its first year.

Revenue from 27 retail stores, an outlet, and four donation centers, help fund local supported employment and job skills training for community members with barriers to employment.• During his time with Goodwill NCW, Matthew provided strategic vision for over 1.5M square feet of owned and leased real estate, and seven condo associations. In addition, Matthew guided multiple departments through a restructure, and built & developed operations, retail, safety, security, and facilities teams.

• Founded in a living room in 1963, Blackhawk Church has grown into three campuses totaling over 185,000 square feet. The organization has been long grounded and guided by a desire to "build a community to reach a community" which can be seen through its passion for local and global service, and a love for the City of Madison.• While serving at Blackhawk Church, Matthew provided leadership and oversight for a 128,000 square foot Middleton, WI campus, and a 16,500 square foot leased campus in downtown Madison, WI. In addition, he led the pre-development, design, construction, and opening of an award-winning, 42,000 square foot Fitchburg, WI campus. Matthew was involved with capital campaign initiatives and grant procurement, which allowed the project to be completed without incurring debt.

The portfolio features a mix of downtown & student housing, multi-family housing, commercial and retail properties, and hall-style residence housing.• During his time with Steve Brown Apartments, Matthew directed operations for a 1.1M square foot residential portfolio, consisting of nine buildings and over 500 units. In addition, he oversaw construction of three ground-up developments totaling 775,000 square feet.
