• Provide services to theatres and performing arts centers as contracted, with a focus on stage electrics work, lighting design, production management and operation, and other services.• Work with numerous individuals from diverse organizations and backgrounds to achieve desired results• Deliver services for multiple organizations simultaneously through precise decision-management and adaptive collaboration.

• Organize technical elements of all productions in the George Rowland White Performing Arts Complex to include lighting, sound, projections, properties, automation, and rigging.• Supervise and provide oversight to all productions taking place in the Complex throughout the calendar year.• Ensure that all technical elements in the Complex are maintained, safe, and operational.• Assist Department Production Manager with all production aspects; assisting with scheduling and staffing of performances and events; assisting with production crew assignment.• Operate as house electrician, programmer, lighting manager, and/or sound manager for all outside vendors.

• Establish rehearsal and technical schedules, call sheets, reports, and other paperwork as needed• Design and implement logistics surrounding the six-week, eighteen-production Festival, including all production calendars, contact information, internal communications, and other roles as needed.

• Design, develop, and execute all aspects of stage electrics for School of Music productions.• Create engaging lighting design for School of Music opera productions.• Coordinate and collaborate with the School of Drama to successfully construct designs.• Directed and empowered undergraduate student teams to gain experience in theatre design and production.

• Produce and operate multi-block festivals in Pittsburgh, such as the Three Rivers Arts Festival, First Night Pittsburgh, Picklesburgh, and the Pittsburgh Children's Theater Festival.• Install technical elements for large-scale festivals, including artist and exhibition booths, performance stages, electrical access, necessary signage, and crowd control.• Operate venue-specific sound, lighting, projection, and other technical equipment as required for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Arts Education Center.• Assemble and implement rotating art exhibitions inside the August Wilson African American Cultural Center.• Provide assistance to guests and patrons of the August Wilson African American Cultural Center and large-scale festivals produced throughout Pittsburgh.
