Currently being a fourth-year student at SJSU, I intend to complete my undergraduate schooling so that I may continue into the Master's program for Accounting at Cal State East Bay. I first fell in love with Accounting after a mistake in selecting a major at my community college, originally planning for the avenue of Human Resources. After taking a majority of Economics classes and many Accounting classes, I realized that Accounting was something that I could see myself pursuing as a career. I plan for a Master's degree in Accounting as well as taking the CPA Exam.Growing up right next door to Silicon Valley has allowed me many opportunities to explore. San Jose State University has such an expansive network for students, and it has given me plenty of insight as to what to expect from many Business Admin careers. I have been given experience in Salesforce, QuickBooks, and most relevant Microsoft applications. I hope that I will be fortunate enough to eventually find myself working at a firm right at home in San Jose!
