Dynofit, Inc. is a medical device startup, currently focused on bringing Flexdot to market. Flexdot is a wireless wearable biosensor that measure muscle activation (EMG) and utilizes custom apps on a smart phone or tablet. Flexdot has recently been listed as a Class II medical device, and we're working to move the product into volume manufacturing to help physical and occupational therapists improve patients' therapy experience and results. The Flexdot system changes physical therapy to a personalized protocol that patients can engage in using games and graphs to better visualize their progress. My roles at Dynofit include qualifying potential manufacturers, developing and monitoring quality systems, marketing, and more (we're a startup, after all.)

AD Care Solutions is an entrepreneurial endeavor and exploration of how to use technology, including computer and tablet-based games, applications, and tools, to improve the lives of those dealing with Alzheimer's Dementia. We currently have nine games under test and additional games in development based on content and suggestions from our advisers. My responsibilities include aspects of business development and market research, company strategy, financial and organizational planning, business plan development, newsletters, and more - basically anything the start-up needs except actual development of the games and tools.

Responsible for day-to-day operations of 14 person startup, including financial management, human resources, marketing, quality, and facilities functions. Marketing responsibilities included business development, sales presentations and handouts, lead tracking, website development, managing all online communication including press releases. Responsible for overall financial management including forecasting, banking, and interfacing with accounting firms to insure on-time payments and payroll as well as full compliance with government regulations regarding multiple research grants. Led successful efforts to achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification
