Former Senior Level, Air Traffic Control Facility Manager, with a diverse and comprehensive background in the areas of Educational, Corporate, General Aviation, and Governmental aerospace/aviation industry. I began my management career while serving in the United States Marines and have continued to develop my skills since. Conversely, I began my tenure in the aviation industry as an aerospace student attending college in Middle Tennessee.While as a college student, I obtained a private pilots license with instrument and high performance rating. As part of my education, I worked as a flight line attendant and as an apprentice to a local A&P mechanic. In order to allow myself to be more diverse, I received a minor in Business Management, whereby I completed an internship with an aviation advertising company in New England.Upon completion of my undergraduate degree, I enrolled in and was accepted into the aerospace graduate program. My primary area of study included airport planning and design. Once again, in order to diversify my background, I also studied airline and airport operations. As a result, I completed an internship with an Airport Planning Firm located in Tennessee.However, during my college career, I discovered Air Traffic Control and that is what I wanted to do as a profession. I worked to receive a Collegiate Training Initiative (CTI) endorsement and earned it upon graduation (undergrad). Again, I continued to pursue that as well as other interests to allow for a robust and diverse background.After my completion of my college career, I began my professional career in the Aviation industry.
