President Saia TL Plus and VP Maintenance & Real Estate – Scope of duties consist of establishing new controls and processes within the maintenance organization that improved service and reduced cost for the company. Responsible for guiding and motivating 400+ employees with an annual operating budget of $600 million, and capital budget of $100 million.

Start-Up and growth of the international division based in Brazil for McLane Company, a global 3PL Supply Chain Company with 117 years of history in the industry. Spearheaded startup strategy; led marketing, business growth, operations, Profit and Loss responsibility, client relations, and expansion into additional South American markets. Led and motivated 1300 employees. Directed activities for all 21 corporate fleet maintenance facilities servicing 2,700 trucks and 12,000 trailers with 600 employees. Scope of responsibility included all logistics projects for 5 distribution centers servicing 500 trucks and 1000 refrigerated trailers with a maintenance staff of 200 employees. Implemented new Standard Operating Procedures; resulted in annual expense reduction of US$3.65M.Saved US$2M annually by redefining vehicle specifications and purchasing practices. Reduced costs by US$250K through changes in vehicle licensing procedures.Implemented new warranty practices that resulted in annual savings of US$400K.
