Maintain and implement new products/features on internal billing systems.

At Ionic I started the cross-platform, multi-language Ionic Client SDK, built the team that manages it, and put in place processes for unit testing, code review, and documentation. I also managed the FIPS certification process of the crypto libraries contained in the SDK and developed the encrypted OpenXML file format.I built the team that created the Ionic Client for Microsoft Office including build and QA systems. During development, I assisted in design and debugging of many difficult facets including file function hooking and protected clipboard operations.I worked on steering Ionic towards enterprise data with a certified Mulesoft connector and a Red Hat database integration.Finally, I worked on the platform team implementing a key strategic integration, and maintaining and the Ionic key servers and communications sub-systems.

At Nucleus Central I worked on applications that educate the medical community and assist in the diagnosis of disease. My application work included mobile devices (iPad and Android) and web development (ASP.NET, C#) for desktop and mobile.

Oracle brought in most of the development team from AppForge to develop a version of ADF that could run standalone applications on mobile devices. I built the original development team for this effort and put in place systems and procedures to support the product on both the mobile runtime and on the JDeveloper design time.I was responsible for development scheduling, technical design, coordination with other internal and external teams, bug reviews, doc reviews, regression test system maintenance, and annual developer performance reviews.

AppForge produced Crossfire, a cross-platform development tool for mobile applications. Crossfire supported all major platforms including Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, Palm, and Symbian. I managed the development of Crossfire's support for the BlackBerry platform as well as the addition of web services for all platforms.I also continued developing in various areas including .NET emulation, UI design time, and UI component integration.In addition to managing and development activities, I restructured the hiring process at AppForge to attract and objectively filter for the best developers we could find.

As a developer at AppForge, I used common design patterns to dramatically reduce the complexity of the cross-platform, mobile runtime code. I was the primary developer of Crossfire's .NET emulation libraries which were coded in .NET assembler. I also worked on the server component of a mobile device management system.
