I earned a PhD in Chemistry at Princeton University where my doctoral research combined chemistry and condensed matter physics, especially semiconductors. Before that I earned a BS in Chemistry with a Physics Minor at Northeastern University.Upon finishing my PhD I became the first hired employee and Chief Science Officer at digital health startup Wellth, where I did business development, operations, and clinical research, and soon shifted heavy focus onto AI, ML, and data science. Now I serve as Principal Data Scientist at Massive Dynamics, doing science and engineering using AI, ML, and applied math (especially optimization and time series forecasting) to build specialized data science products for large enterprises. My academic achievements include 15 peer-reviewed papers with a total of 1000+ citations. I was 4x invited by leading physics journals to peer review submitted manuscripts in my field and have given several talks at scientific conferences. For the past 10 years I annually write and review questions for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) National Science Bowlยฎ, which aims to inspire middle and high school students to excel in science, technology, engineering, and math.
