In 2017, I assumed the role of Director Vigilance & Security and Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at DRDO, where I was entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the security and vigilance operations across more than 52 DRDO Labs and Establishments nationwide. My primary focus was to ensure the safeguarding of classified national secrets and prevent any compromise. On the vigilance front, I oversaw the entire spectrum of vigilance cases, including Preventive Vigilance, Detective Vigilance, and Punitive Vigilance. This involved coordination with the Ministry of Defence/D (Vigilance), the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Additionally, I managed the processing of complaints from all DRDO Labs/Establishments and handled vigilance clearances.

DRDO entrusted me with the position of Member Secretary of the Armament Research Board. In this role, I actively supported both basic and applied research relevant to the armament discipline. This involved reviewing and approving research proposals submitted by academic institutes, as well as fostering imaginative research efforts in armament disciplines to introduce innovative approaches and materials.As the Member Secretary, I played a key role in promoting upstream Research & Development activities across academic institutions, research organizations, and the industry. The objective was to contribute to the creation of self-sufficiency in critical technologies necessary for the development of competitive armament stores, thereby positioning the armament discipline at the forefront in the global scenario.

Over the course of my five-year tenure at AICTE, one of my major accomplishments was the implementation of an e-governance system for approval processes. This initiative ensured that all functions, from application to approval, were conducted online without any human intervention. This approach significantly enhanced transparency, and reducing delays. The transition to online operations also resulted in cost savings and replaced manual administrative work with a more efficient, fast-paced system. Throughout my tenure at AICTE, I actively participated as a member in the Board of Governance, Selection Committees, and the Court of various prestigious institutions such as IIMs, NITs, and other nationally significant organizations. The e-governance initiative I led at AICTE garnered seven awards, showcasing the success of our efforts. My time at AICTE afforded me extensive exposure to the inner workings of the education system, legal processes, investigating agencies, and effective communication and issue resolution strategies. I engaged with elected representatives, bureaucrats, industrialists, and educationists, gaining valuable insights into the intricate operations of higher education. This experience led to invitations as a Keynote Speaker and Guest Speaker at numerous national and international forums, seminars, workshops, and conferences, including those organized by FICCI, NASSCOM, CII, and various educational institutions. I took the initiative to organize several workshops across diverse disciplines, drawing the attendance of Secretaries from various states. This experience provided invaluable learning opportunities and enhanced my understanding of the functioning of state education systems. Additionally, I assumed the additional responsibility of Member Secretary at AICTE for a period of eight months.

In 1995, I was selected to do M.Tech program in Modeling and Simulation, graduating with distinction from Pune University in 1996. Following the completion of the course, I was appointed as an Instructor at DIAT, DU Pune, a prestigious position for any Service Officer. In my role as an Instructor, I assumed responsibility for the training workshop at IAT and became a faculty member in Mechanical Engineering Department. During my tenure as Workshop Officer at IAT, Pune, I enhanced the facilities by introducing various manufacturing capabilities such as CNC Machining Centre, CNC trainers, and an integrated CAD/CAM Laboratory with CNC machines in the Training Workshop. I upgraded the Training Workshop's facilities by incorporating additional machinery, personnel, and materials. Furthermore, I developed a training module and facility for the Technical Staff Officers Course. In my capacity as a faculty member, I designed multiple courses, conducted Continuing Education Programs (CEPs), organized workshops and seminars, and taught subjects like Vibrations, Modeling and Simulation, Simulator, Combat Modeling, and Matlab programming. As Management Representative implemented ISO 9001:2000 for DIAT, a Deemed University in Pune. During my time at DIAT, Pune, I also served as the Registrar and Chief of Administration. I played a pivotal role in organizing significant events, including convocations where distinguished guests, including the Honorable President of India, presided. My tenure at DIAT, Deemed University, was marked by excellence in academics, administration, orientation, and research.

After completing my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Jodhpur and achieving the 3rd position in the university, I joined the Indian Army in July 1988 and was commissioned in June 1989. Upon commissioning, I became a part of an Infantry Unit stationed at the Siachen Glacier, the world's highest active battlefield. During my time at Siachen Glacier, I acquired various mountaineering and snowcraft skills, learning how to survive and defend our country in extremely harsh weather conditions where temperatures plummet to -70°C at night. Additionally, I faced the challenge of engaging with the enemy in direct, eye-to-eye combat on what is considered the toughest battlefield in the world. I was trained for Military Aviation for 15 months. I positioned in Military Helicopters Units to provide engineering support to Military Helicopters. I was trained to give engineering support to combat units in operational area the same was done with excellence.
